I just started a blog on twitter. If you are there, please sign up as a follower and check out the fun quick links I am posting!

I have been doing a little of this and a little of that lately. Working on healing. I bought an infrared sauna. I am doing some mercury detox treatments. It's hard stuff to get through and it's a process, not a sprint. Drinking lots of water. Eating real fresh food and nothing that has a mile long label on it. I have been taking some good supplements and sitting by the beach every day when I am at the shore.

I am reading less self help books lately and more fiction. I am loving it.
I've liked a few by Nora Roberts and also Jane Green. Especially her book about The Beach House.

Hope you are doing well- I can't believe it is August basically!

Nice picture Jo!! I see you have artistic photographer in you as well. So many talents! I first experienced an infrared Sauna in Salzburg this past April. It was wonderful! It really helps with detox. It really cleared up my skin.

I am big on supplements that fit each person's individual body and well being. Fresh foods are really great as well. I have been diving into what are labeled as super foods such as blueberries, cinnamon, ginger, barley, etc. I try to add a new one each week. It has been fun experimenting, and experiencing the healing properties of food. It makes so much sense that what we eat can heal.

Cinnamon for example really helps with balancing blood sugar. I have a friend who has minimize the impact of her diabetes as a result of including it in her diet. I feel much more even energetically since I have incorporated it in my diet.

I had to smile on reading less self help books. Good for you! The direct experience of life can be so Awesome on its own.

A novel you might enjoy if you haven't read it already is “The Razors Edge” by W. Somerset Maugham. It is beautiful writing and a fascinating story.

Here's to Health & Healing!
